The IceWorks Skating Club membership is joining together to help Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Chop is facing a severe shortage of essential Personal Protective Equipment including:

  • Masks
  • Gowns
  • Gloves
  • Goggles
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Surgical Booties

We are asking all club members to collect these items from neighbors, friends and small businesses. You can do this without contact by placing a container on your porch for drop off.

We are also looking for people to sew masks. Directions for sewing simple masks will be posted on the IceWorks SC FaceBook page and on their website. Any pattern can be used if you have your own. Once items are gathered, or on ways to help, please email Lisa Shaw, Club President.

Lisa’s email is Lisa will pick up or meet you to retrieve items and deliver them to CHOP. Items can also be dropped at Lisa’s home or other Board member’s homes that are close to you.

For addresses on where to drop of items, please email Lisa, for the closest drop off point or to arrange pick up.

We can all help in our small way to make a large contribution. We must protect all our healthcare workers and more hospitals can be helped if we all pitch in as an organization and a community.

Thank you
